![]() Everything is now about being pure and upholding morals. ![]() Any bad words, or anything sexual in nature is banned. Basically the government has become super politically correct and super ignorant and have banned any lewd language or literature. No flying cars or teleporters or anything like that. It’s sort of futuristic, but not obviously. Another big hope for this summer in my opinion.Īnd then we have Shimoneta. There are also rules, such as he can’t leave her alone, and he can’t harm her, etc. By some error our main character gets stuck with a girl that’s part snake, and he treats her well and she falls in love with him and constantly tries to take advantage of him, and ecchi stuff occurs. I guess people volunteer or sign up and the monster moves in with them and they take care of it, and teach them about society and how to blend. Basically a bunch of different species come out into the public and then the government tries to be diplomatic and integrate them into society. And then ecchi stuff occurs, and it’s decently funny. So then the school president comes over main character’s house and says that she has to move in. Okusama Ga Seito Kaichou!, a short ecchi about a girl running for school president, and turns out that when she and the main character were little, their parents said that when they were older they would marry them. it was just finally nice to see a self centered egotistical main character, we don’t get that enough. By the second episode he starts to become a normal protagonist, and he starts acting good and nice. I preferred the first episode where the main character was more of an anti-hero, cheater, only looking to get ahead. The second episode took a shift in tone, a decision I didn’t really care for, but it’s still a good show. Then this open book guy, who can’t keep a secret, has to keep the biggest secret. Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa, it’s sort of a supernatural romcom about a guy who likes a girl in his class, and on his way to confess, he finds out she’s sort of a vampire. I believe it’ll be a new case every week or so, all based on different books by the author. It’s got a cool visual style, and the show itself is pretty entertaining. It’s pretty entertaining, based on some books by a Japanese author, it’s about a bored young kid who is really observant, and then his teacher is murdered and he becomes a suspect and he gets excited because he finds the situation fun. So if you like learning more about anime, check it out. In the same vein of Shirobako, Saekano, The Comic Artist And Assistants, we have Sore Ga Seiyuu!, which follows a couple of girls trying to become seiyuus, which are voice actors. Then we’ve got Sore Ga Seiyuu!, which is another one of those anime shows about anime. Danchigai is another little short, a slice of life about some guy and his little sisters, it’s something to watch while downloading other stuff. It’s like a short Kiniro Mosaic, so if you liked that, you’ll like this. But it’s got the same type of art style and characterizations as Kiniro Mosaic. So it’s pretty basic and low maintenance in terms of plot. ![]() It’s an 8 minute show if I recall correctly. But it feels like Gunslinger Stratos, is it made by the same company? It’s like, watchable, but not exciting. It had a decent looking premise, futuristic and whatnot. The only slight difference seems to be he’s just stuck in there alone with NPCs that are starting to become real. Geez, Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, and tons more. ![]() It wasn’t bad, and it seems to have a little bit of promise, but it’s just a concept that’s being beaten to death. Bikini Warriors, it’s like a 3-8 minute short, the first episode was decently funny, but it seems bland and like something you just watch to fill a small gap of time. I’ll start by mentioning the few I watched that I’ll probably stop watching. But I guess that's why I'm forever alone. So here we go.Ĭhrist, do people actually do this? Just watching that is painful. Now aside from being lewd, some of these are actually pretty funny and enjoyable. So what’s my summer watch list look like? Well, it doesn’t seem like I have much of a choice, because half of the summer shows I’ve seen are ecchi.
